Besucherbergwerk Ramsbeck (Sauerland)

Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum

Dino City Bochum
Dino City Bochum is an event lasting over a month, during which various dinosaurs can be admired throughout Bochum. These are spread across the entire city and can be discovered by young and old alike. So far, this event has taken place in 2019, 2021 and 2024.
Dinopark Münchehagen (Niedersachsen)

Extraschicht
The Extraschicht takes place once a year, usually on the first Saturday in June. Many different venues throughout the Ruhr area take part and offer music, exhibitions, tours and much more. It's best to get tickets in advance on the website or at advance booking offices!
Geologischer Garten Bochum
The geological garden is a freely accessible park near the U35 stop ‘Wasserstraße’. The former brick quarry offers several outcrops of regional rocks and various geological structures.

Mineralien-Museum Essen
The museum is part of the Ruhr Museum Foundation in cooperation with Bürgerschaft Kupferdreh e.V. Since 2018, the permanent exhibition has been open to the public free of charge. The museum regularly hosts guided tours, workshops and children's birthday parties.

Trainingsbergwerk Recklinghausen
