Was macht der FSR?

The Student Council (FSR) is the official representative body for students. We represent the views and opinions of geoscience students at RUB and participate in various committees within our institute, such as the Institute Council and the Examination Board. We also maintain close contact with our lecturers in order to resolve any problems or uncertainties between the student body and teaching staff as quickly as possible.
In addition to these official activities, we are also responsible for networking and communication among our students. We organise introductory events for first-year students, as well as general events such as Geogrillen (barbecues) or games evenings for the entire student body. These events provide an opportunity for students from different semesters to meet and communicate with each other. We announce these events via Moodle, email, Discord and our Instagram channel. If you have any questions about your studies, you can also contact us via these networks or visit us during our office hours during the lecture period.
